{"id":8732,"date":"2011-12-12T18:12:05","date_gmt":"2011-12-12T17:12:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.todoheavymetal.com\/?p=8732"},"modified":"2012-11-01T12:05:30","modified_gmt":"2012-11-01T11:05:30","slug":"steel-horse-in-the-storm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.todoheavymetal.com\/index.php\/disco-del-mes\/steel-horse-in-the-storm","title":{"rendered":"STEEL HORSE &#8211; IN THE STORM"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/subterraneoheavy.com\/webzine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/steelhorse42.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"308\" height=\"311\" \/>Dos a\u00f1os han pasado desde que la banda madrile\u00f1a, pionera en el resurgir del heavy metal m\u00e1s cl\u00e1sico en la capital, editaran su \u00e1lbum debut <em>Wild power<\/em> hasta que por fin hemos podido disfrutar de su nuevo disco.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Y digo disfrutar porque eso es lo que se hace desde que empieza hasta que acaba esta nueva obra de STEEL HORSE\u2026 disfrutar, y mucho.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Grand\u00edsimo el disco que se han sacado de la chistera estos 4 heavy metaleros, que al igual que hicieran en su primer disco practican heavy metal con may\u00fasculas y siguen siendo fieles a su sonido 100%. Empleando un s\u00edmil inform\u00e1tico esta nueva \u201cversi\u00f3n 2.0\u201d de STEEL HORSE es ampliada y mejorada en relaci\u00f3n a su predecesora.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La secci\u00f3n compositiva de la banda (Jorge Cort\u00e9s y Willy Gasc\u00f3n) se han puesto las pilas para este disco y nos han dejado una colecci\u00f3n de temas redondos mientras que el sonido conseguido por \u00c1ngel Mu\u00f1oz en los estudios Traste Cero ha mejorado ostensiblemente el de su debut. Con estos mimbres el resultado obtenido es de 10.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">STEEL HORSE ha hecho temas r\u00e1pidos y contundentes como la inicial \u201cThe rebel\u201d o la que da nombre al disco \u201cIn the storm\u201d con guitarras r\u00e1pidas y una secci\u00f3n r\u00edtmica al galope. En la misma onda siguen \u201cCross the edge\u201d y \u201cThunderdome\u201d donde no te dejan un momento de respiro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>In the storm<\/em> tambi\u00e9n tiene otros temas m\u00e1s comerciales como \u201cLand of the wolves\u201d o \u201cLive to Rock\u201d (donde hacen toda una declaraci\u00f3n de intenciones y donde el Sr. Gasc\u00f3n se hace uno de los mejores solos de todo el disco), que se te meten en tu cabeza a la primera y que, en directo, har\u00e1n las delicias de sus seguidores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Otros temas como \u201cCristal grave\u201d y \u201cNocturne\u201d son m\u00e1s elaborados, m\u00e1s maduros, instrumentalmente muy trabajados donde STEEL HORSE baja un poco la velocidad y que son, al menos para m\u00ed, las dos joyas de la corona de este disco. Aqu\u00ed toda la banda hace una interpretaci\u00f3n fant\u00e1stica y nos demuestran lo que son capaces de llegar a hacer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El disco termina con la instrumental \u201cThe sacred runes\u201d, pausada, con la guitarra de Willy Gasc\u00f3n como protagonista absoluta que poco a poco va tomando velocidad y que pone un punto y final al disco diferente pero muy brillante.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Destacar la interpretaci\u00f3n notable de Jorge, \u00c1ngel y Rub\u00e9n a lo largo y ancho de todo el disco, pero sobre todo a Willy Gasc\u00f3n que est\u00e1 de sobresaliente y que demuestra que ya est\u00e1 entre los mejores guitarristas del g\u00e9nero de todo el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Un disco en definitiva con el que, espero y deseo que STEEL HORSE suba un pelda\u00f1o m\u00e1s en su carrera y con el que consigan quitarse el cartel de banda promesa porque, a d\u00eda de hoy, son ya una realidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>In the storm<\/em> es sin duda alguna uno de los mejores discos facturados en este 2011.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">pelos<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dos a\u00f1os han pasado desde que la banda madrile\u00f1a, pionera en el resurgir del heavy metal m\u00e1s cl\u00e1sico en la capital, editaran su \u00e1lbum debut Wild power hasta que por fin hemos podido disfrutar de su nuevo disco.
