\"\"Una nueva generaci\u00f3n de grupos practicantes del Heavy Metal m\u00e1s cl\u00e1sico est\u00e1 surgiendo en nuestra geograf\u00eda. Uno de ellos es OKER, que tras irrumpir en la escena con un muy exitoso EP, Dale ca\u00f1a<\/em> (2009), nos trae su primer larga duraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Nos hemos puesto en contacto con ellos para que nos pongan al d\u00eda y nos cuenten todo sobre su Burlando a la muerte<\/em>. Como cantaban SOBREDOSIS hace ya unos a\u00f1itos: \u201cSangre joven para el Rock & Roll, savia nueva para que nunca muera\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

– Antes de nada, para los que no os conocen todav\u00eda, contadnos c\u00f3mo y cu\u00e1ndo surge OKER.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bueno, OKER surge en el ambiente heavy de Madrid. Poco a poco nos fuimos juntando entre nosotros. Todos ten\u00edamos la idea de hacer un grupo de heavy metal al m\u00e1s puro estilo que se realizaba en este pa\u00eds en los a\u00f1os 80, pero con la contundencia actual. La idea principal la empec\u00e9 yo, Lolo, hace 5 a\u00f1os aproximadamente. Despu\u00e9s conoc\u00ed a \u00c1lvaro, y luego nos fuimos juntando hasta llegar a la formaci\u00f3n estable hace 3 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

– Vuestra demo Dale ca\u00f1a<\/em>, tuvo una gran aceptaci\u00f3n tanto a nivel de p\u00fablico como de cr\u00edtica. \u00bfEl nivel de ventas ha sido paralelo a dicho \u00e9xito?<\/strong><\/p>\n

La verdad es que no nos podemos quejar puesto que hemos vendido m\u00e1s de 800 copias, todo a trav\u00e9s del boca a boca, sin apenas promoci\u00f3n o publicidad. Somos el primer grupo con un \u00fanico Ep que ha participado en el Festival Leyendas del Rock. Bueno, ya te digo, estamos muy contentos.<\/p>\n

\"\"– Contadnos un poco c\u00f3mo ha sido el proceso de grabaci\u00f3n de vuestro primer larga duraci\u00f3n, Burlando la muerte<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En noviembre del a\u00f1o pasado entramos en el estudio y a mediados de diciembre estaba grabado el 90 % del disco, pero por motivos t\u00e9cnicos y burocr\u00e1ticos no pudimos acabar la grabaci\u00f3n hasta marzo de este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

– Creo que en las letras hab\u00e9is dado un paso adelante, siendo m\u00e1s maduras que las de Dale ca\u00f1a<\/em>, sin perder ese poso de rebeld\u00eda que aporta la juventud de los miembros de la banda. \u00bfEst\u00e1is de acuerdo?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bueno, la verdad es que las letras las seguimos componiendo como antes. Lo que habr\u00e1 cambiado, a lo mejor, es alguna experiencia m\u00e1s en la vida o cosas as\u00ed, pero el m\u00e9todo sigue siendo el mismo. Las solemos hacer entre Xina, Juanky y yo.<\/p>\n

– Todo el disco es un homenaje al Heavy Metal m\u00e1s cl\u00e1sico, con constantes referencias al pasado glorioso de nuestro movimiento, como los temas \u201cOker\u201do \u201cQuiero Rock\u201d. \u00bfCre\u00e9is que \u201ccualquier tiempo pasado fue mejor\u201d?.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Por desgracia tenemos que decir que s\u00ed, aunque actualmente se est\u00e1 levantando mucho el movimiento y est\u00e1 resurgiendo toda una nueva generaci\u00f3n de grupos y de pe\u00f1a joven que est\u00e1 llevando otra vez el rock hacia arriba.<\/p>\n

– Otro ejemplo de lo antes comentado es la portada, que desde el primer momento te trae a la mente el cl\u00e1sico single Women in uniform<\/em> de IRON MAIDEN, con las l\u00f3gicas diferencias. \u00bfQui\u00e9n se ha encargado del trabajo?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"– STEEL HORSE, WILD, IN VAIN, OKER, INFLUENCE\u2026 Est\u00e1 surgiendo una nueva generaci\u00f3n de grupos amantes del metal m\u00e1s cl\u00e1sico. \u00bfC\u00f3mo veis este movimiento?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Es fenomenal, es la sangre joven para el rock, para el heavy metal, para nuestro rollo. La sangre joven que asegura la supervivencia y muchos a\u00f1os de vida a nuestro rollo. Y por supuesto toda una bofetada en la cara para todos aquellos que pensaban que estaba muerto<\/p>\n

– Volviendo al disco, Santo Grial se encarga de la distribuci\u00f3n. \u00bfEl resto del trabajo de la edici\u00f3n ha corrido por vuestra cuenta?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Si, Santo Grial se encarga de la distribuci\u00f3n y nosotros nos hemos costeado el resto.<\/p>\n

– Hab\u00e9is contado con la colaboraci\u00f3n de Oscar Sancho y Miguel \u00c1ngel L\u00f3pez \u201cCachorro\u201d. \u00bfC\u00f3mo surgi\u00f3 el tema y c\u00f3mo ha sido la experiencia?<\/strong><\/p>\n

La experiencia ha sido fenomenal. Contar con dos grandes como son \u00d3scar y Miguel \u00c1ngel ha sido un gran honor para nosotros.<\/p>\n

– Ahora es el momento de presentar el trabajo en directo. \u00bfQu\u00e9 planes ten\u00e9is?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Estamos a punto de cerrar varias fechas, aunque con el l\u00edo de las elecciones est\u00e1 la cosa un poco parada. Pero bueno, en breve tendremos noticias frescas.<\/p>\n

– Despu\u00e9s del \u00e9xito en el anterior Leyendas del Rock, donde fuisteis la verdadera sensaci\u00f3n, \u00bften\u00e9is en vista alg\u00fan festival de verano?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pues por ahora no podemos contar nada (ja, ja). Como hemos dicho antes, pronto tendremos noticias frescas\u2026<\/p>\n
